Winton's is a stunning mature 10.5 acre carp lake situated in the countryside of

upper Normandy, close to the historic village of Rugles. The fishery is within

a comfortable distance of Calais being 3 hours, Dieppe 2 hours and Le Havre being 1 hour

making it a perfect destination for your carp fishing trip to France.

 

The lake is a mature gravel pit and is over 50 years old. It ranges in depth from 3ft in the margins

to 14ft, with the banks being fully lined with mature trees, overhanging bushes,

and well maintained lawns, creating a beautiful tranquil and secluded lake.

 

There are 11 spacious swims on the lake with 2 being large doubles. The number of anglers

is restricted to 8, giving ample water to fish and the option of changing swim. The lake

was originally stocked in 2001 with 400 carp ranging from 20lbs to 55lbs.

It has a perimeter fence with secure gates and a safe parking area

for your cars. There are fridges and freezers available and English charging points.

 

The fishery is now under new management with a new vision, passion and expertise to add

a personal touch the fishery, but keeping its original beauty. A selection of larger fish have been

added to the original stock, the swims have been carefully rebuilt and the toilet and

showers at the main chalet have been completely refurbished and modernised.
